Registered Care Managers, Deputy Managers and Strategic leaders - Continuous Development Programme
Welcome to this specially designed and optional accredited continual development programme for Registered Managers, strategic leaders and development programme for deputy managers.
Besides the formal aims of the programme, which you will see below, this programme is about looking at your role and skill enhancement as a senior manager. We will spend time over a number of sessions studying a range of issues that are currently relevant to the fields of management as well as health and social care and attempting to analyse their implications upon you as professional managers, set within the context of your role.
Aims
The programme will familiarise the participant with key management and organisational systems relevant to their role in health and social care delivery. It also provides an opportunity to critically assess the application of these concepts in your every day practice within the delivery of high quality care.
The RVQ unit accreditation, Skills for Care competency framework or if you choose the RVQ level 5 competency framework are the tools that can be used to measure your progress throughout the programme.
By the end of the programme you will have successfully complete a work based project, which will enable you to experience coaching, your CPD points as defined by the awarding body will be granted. Don’t worry we will explain this further during the programme. This will lead to you gaining a certification, evidence of CPD for professional revalidation or a qualification.
